I think this is an awesome idea. One of the things that compelled me to train when I was younger was because of the physical and psychological scars from being bullied as a child. I was about 275 lbs. until I started losing my weight at age 16. I was still fairly overweight when I began Capoeira with you. I can attest to the difference in my attitude and confidence after training with you first in Capoeira and then Savate while you were here in Irving. The experience and knowledge definitely changed my life. That is one reason why I tattooed the old coat of arms on my chest. I trained with Professeur Buitrón from 2007-2009 and earned my blue glove in the art of Danse De Rue Savate. The experience I obtained within the first year was extremely overwhelmed with so much information, beauty, tactics, precision, style, history, and skill that I fell in love with the Art itself, from simple punches, kicks and basic evasion to mind blowing techniques. My time spent learning and having the honor to spar and expand my knowledge with Profe' was and still are some of the greatest moments in my life, and though I am not working on my Green glove at the moment due to school and work, My Heart, mind and soul is just waiting for the day I continue my road to absolute knowledge.
