The following lists will give the history of the known Professeurs showing the following: Who Taught them, what they have done in the realm of western pugilism Savate.

We are only placing known Professeurs of Savate with true valid roots with in the structure of Savate salles of France. The following Professeurs are from the following styles of Savate ( Boxe Francaise, Savate, Savate Boxe Francaise, Danse de Rue Savate and Renaissance Savate). Photos will be added As we receive them.

We will not have a section for Contemporary Savate or recreated Savate.

We are not placing Silver Gloves , Moniteurs nor Intiateurs of Savate: Boxe Francaise. Many forget that in the traditions of testing a silver glove: three Professeurs need to be present.

We need help with some of the origins of several of the Professeurs listed, including with some of the origins of Professeurs that went to other countries.

You have to understand that that majority of Professeurs of Savate have stopped teaching due to the ever growing political decisions made by individuals who run the federations, that do not know the art or have never trained in it. Leaving behind a huge gape of students that where not formed to preach assimilations of non truths and misconceptions. This is the problem that we face in several of the countries that have no competitions yet alone Professeurs to teach.

So self made Professeurs emerge without prudence nor actual formations of any grade. So history and the philosophy is lost. Producing lies upon lies. In today's world I have seen Savate bastardized with videos , selling ranks at seminars and over the internet. Hopefully for those wishing to learn can have an idea of where your Professeur comes from.

This is a project of the International Guild of Danse De Rue Savate to help aide with the confusion of Savate in general. I know that there are many other Professeurs that need to be here , so anyone that has not been placed. We are not disrespecting you we just need time to gather information The same goes with other countries.

I know with in several days after this posting (3/1/08 date posted) you will see this information that has taken years of gathering seen or copied on other site.
