Professeur Roger Lafond is The living Legend of Savate. With Savate entwined in his family since the time of Casseux. He learned from both his Father Eugene Lafond II and Grand Father Eugene Lafond I who was a student of Micheal Casseux, Hubert Lecour as well as Hubert Lebroucher.

Is the Creator of Panache. Creating it after the myth of how a Savatier with panache could not be cut with a knife or struck down with a bullet. He still teaches privately student that have become Professeurs of both Canne and Boxe Francaise. Teaching the last discipline of Panache. His Students include : His son Jean Lafond Maurice Sarry, Christian Guillaume, Jean-Paul Viviani, Paul-Raymond Buitron III and André Germe
