Those who gave me direction for DDRS

"The name of this art is derived from the common International Phrase of --do you want to Dance--meaning do you want to fight. That is why I named the system in that fashion." Professeur Buitron

Professeur Buitron States," the following men have taught me the Martial Skills, it is too these men that I Created Danse De Rue Savate."

A brief history  of Professeur Buitron is that he has been involved  in the Martial skills since the age of 6. He started training with his Uncle Isidro Chapa and Father in the family art of Zipota. Having the family art entwined for six five generation here in Texas.  Prof. Buitron studied with his Uncle for 26 years until his Uncle's death.

Sifu Keith See

Started Training with Sifu Keith See in 1986 Prof. Buitron still proudly expresses his Instructor to this day. Arriving at the same time to watch an Aikido Class. They became friends and finally Sifu See became his Teacher. Sifu See is the last to have trained with the Kenpo Masters' Chow, Emperado and Parker.

Prof Buitron says, "I still remember Sifu calling out flow from zipota, aki and kenpo, its all just rough and tumble little brother."

Sensei John Ayers

Acknowledging the reality of Japanese sword play, and how it is transferred into the martial art of Aikido and Aki-jujitsu. Has enabled the growth and expansion of the way of thinking of the art. As Prof. Buitron states," never had I found a teacher with the knowledge that Sensei Ayers portrayed." Being a strong force behind Professeur Buitron when he was Invited by the French Federation and Prof. Paturel to train in France.

"Sensei Ayers to this day is still the teacher that has opened my eyes between the connections of all the martial skills. The theory of a complete universal pattern," states Buitron .

Maitre Robert Paturel

Buitron was invited by the French Federation of Savate and Professeur Robert Paturel to train in France. Training under Prof. Paturel, Prof. Buitron learn a great deal of the art of Savate and the Lutte Parissienne. Becoming one of Five Professeurs of Prof. Paturel.

Maitre Jean-Paul Viviani

It was when he meet Maitre Jean-Paul Viviani that Buitron started to appreciate Savate. Here is where I was able to express the art to its fullest since the concern of maitre Viviani was for us to grow knowing the true art of Savate. "Maitre Viviani was the one the instructed me to form the International Guild of Danse De Rue Savate since the decimation of the art was very much prevalent in France", Buitron States, "During each day of my training with Maitre Viviani not only did  I learn technique but the why's of each technique.

Many fail to realize that in savate there is more than just punching and kicking." Always in tuned with the projects of the Guild Maitre Viviani has spent his time teaching at Buitron's Savate Foundation.

Maitre Roger Lafond

During Buitron's schooling he found a Maitre of the old school and ways of the art of Savate. Becoming a student and finally a Professeur under Lafond. The true meaning of the history and the way one needs to teach in order for  history not to be forgotten. Here is a Professeur in all his years coming to Texas to help USA SAVATE have its first Border Rumble 1998

Prof . Buitron States, " with Maitre Lafond you learned two distinct truths of the history of Savate, What I call the Truth and Federation History." I still have in my possession a diploma that Maitre Lafond gave me, that of his Father as a World Champion back in 1908. I remember showing it to two Presidents of the International Federation. Two Ex- Presidents Michel Roger and Alexander Walnier both stated in a similar fashion. It is a lie Lafond is an old crazy man. I responded, "the lies are in the fede." How can this apparent international Federation just stop caring about the one that laid down the foundation the art of Savate?

Professeur Michel Gilbert

When in France Buitron also studied with Professeur Michel Gilbert. With Prof. Gilbert I learn the inns and out of running a successful club in formation of a competitive team. "When I attended the classes of Professeur Gilbert, what I learned was formational Savate, thinking the of the French Federation . Dotting I's and slashing your T's", Prof Buitron States.

Professeur Richard Sylla

While in France Prof. Buitron was sent to Professeur Sylla by both Professeurs Paturel and Micheal Roger. He Trained in INSEP in 1991 to 1993.

Prof. Buitron States, "little did I know about the fractions of movements that become simpler in the effectiveness of Boxe Francaise Savate and the speed that is produced by the fine tuning that this master of the art provides his students."

Mestre Acordeon Bira Almeida

In 1994 Professeur Buitron was fortunate in becoming a student of Mestre Acordeon .

Who  helped the Dallas formation of Capoeria, along with Prof. Butiron through the years their friendship developed, and today they have rekindled the Capoeira movement once more, but now in Laredo Texas.

Maha Guru Victor De Thouars

Always searching for in the combative realm. Prof Buitron started learning from Maha Guru Victor de Thouars in 2002, in the arts of Serak™, Soempat Silat.

"With Pak Vic I have made new brothers with great skills that are greatly appreciated like Maha Guru Muda Bob Vanatta, Guru Ron Miller in this world of pugilism.", Prof Buitron States.

"I have seen how two distinct arts share a common goal. Rock-n-roll mentality. Which is hard to find these days. There are many common theories between the two arts which I can say are linked with the spice trades, " Buitron Opinionates.

Maha Guru Muda Bob Vanatta

With in this limited world of true pugilism, I have found a Brother in Armes that has all the qualities of a true Martial person. I have started to stud under Guru Bob in his art of Bledek Silat  and how it goes hand in hand with all the philosophies of Danse De Rue Savate.

Here is a man with a good heart for teaching and a solid backbone. I have seen many martial artist that claim and when reality is minutes from breaking into a full out rock-n-roll session he and Guru Ron Miller where 150 percent ready to rock-n-roll.

Sifu Greg Ringness

Ever Growing with the martial realm Professeur Buitron has started once more on the path for knowledge. Training again with my Brother in Kenpo Sifu Greg Ringness. Listening once more to the same words the Sifu Keith See had instilled in me for 17 years.

Here is a man the has seen lighting and has made lighting, his quickness comes from an inherited knowledge passed on by the Kenpo men of Hawaii.

Guru Stevan Plinck

As the continual road of the the martial way you will never stop learning and several teachers I have the respect of calling teachers.

Guru Stevan Plinck is truly the finer edge of a truly honed blade. Understanding those that want to teach you instead of those who claim to teach you is something that you as a student needs to understand.

Today, you will find Prof. Buitron out in the range where he spends his time guiding hunters to there mark at there families Ranch: Las Auras Ranch www.texas-hunts.com in Crystal City Texas since hunting is his passion after zipota .

Buitron opinionates, "here is where you actually find yourself closer to the creator, your senses must be on. Because if you are good enough to guide a hunter yards away from an animal that can hear your heartbeat at 100 yards, You are finally doing something right.""

Depending on the type of game you are hunting, the conditions change this puts a new meaning to the words "On point all the time".

Those who are around the central Texas area of Uvalde, Crystal City, Carrizo Springs come and train since the gate is open for those wishing to learn.
